Yankee is a crime drama series that premiered on Netflix in 2019. The show is set in Mexico and follows the story of a young businessman named Malcolm Moriarty, also known as Yankee, who travels from the United States to Mexico to expand his family's business. Pablo Lyle plays the lead role of Malcolm, who is a charming and ambitious young man with a secret past. His family has a thriving arms business in the US, but after a mishap involving a shipment of guns, Malcolm decides to move to Mexico to start afresh.

Upon his arrival, he faces numerous challenges not only in growing his business but also in navigating the intricate web of power and corruption in Mexico. He quickly learns that his biggest challenge is to stay alive as he gets caught up in the violent world of drug cartels and Mexican gangs.

Ana Layevska plays the role of Phoebe, Malcolm's love interest. Leonardo Daniel plays the role of Dr. Alexei, who becomes an ally and mentor to Malcolm in his new venture. Another notable cast member is Javier D
