The Other One is a British sitcom television series that premiered on BBC One in 2020. Created by Holly Walsh, the series is about a dysfunctional family that is forced to come together after the death of their patriarch. The series follows two women, Cathy and Cat, who are half-sisters and were both raised by the same man, Colin. After Colin unexpectedly dies, Cathy and Cat discover they have a third sister, Marilyn, who was the secret love child of their father. The revelation leads to a hilariously awkward and strange reunion as the sisters try to navigate their relationships with each other while also dealing with their grief.
