Watch The Gates

The movie The Gates is a documentary film centered around one of the largest public art projects to ever be displayed in New York City. This art project was created by Christo and Jeanne-Claude in 2005, consisting of 7,500 gates covered with a colorful orange cloth, which was accented the many miles of walkways within New York's Central Park.

It took Christo and Jeanne over 25 years to get the go-ahead on their project from Mayor Bloomberg. In this docoumentary, viewers will get to see footage from the many debates on the project from various mayors, as well as see the installation of the gates.
