This surreal Swedish comedy tells the story of Picasso's life, albeit with a loose connection to the actual facts. Picasso shows artistic promise at an early age and is sent to study in Madrid. That is the start of a life that has him return to his birth town, live in , struggle as an artist, find success, mingle with other great artists and writers of his age and live through two World Wars.
