This is a dark sci-fi movie about the future where technology has already been outlawed. A lone scientist is working on building an android. He is trying to make it self-aware. Walter is a scientist who lives in a world where technology is forbidden. He loves to do experiments and tinker whenever he can. His plan is to make it his companion because he is a lonely man.

He raised the android as if it were his own child. As it grows and learns, it develops its own personality. The scientist will turn against it when it develops feelings for a woman he secretly loves.
