Sergio looks back on his life in Cuba over the course of this drama that explores how life in the country is altered by the Communist revolution. At the beginning of his story, Sergio is a wealthy young man who has aspirations to become a writer, at the outset of the revolution he makes the decision to stay when his family flees to the safety of the US. Blending real life footage of protests and images of the revolution Sergio explains how life is affected by major events, including the missile crisis.
