As destiny would have it, Shanker and Ravi cross paths after many years, and their reunion leads to a chain of events that changes their lives forever. Shanker, now employed as a taxi driver, gets entangled in a murder case and is wrongly accused of the crime. Ravi, who has always been independent and self-sufficient, decides to help his brother clear his name and sets out to unravel the real culprits behind the heinous crime.
The movie's highlight is the powerful and electrifying performances of the lead actors. Jeetendra, known for his versatile acting skills, excels in his portrayal of Shanker, a man who has been dealt a tough hand by life but never gives up. Sridevi, on the other hand, steals the show with her natural charm and charisma as Ravi's love interest, Suman.
The chemistry between the lead pair is electric, and their on-screen presence is a delight to watch. Poonam Dhillon, who plays the role of Shanker's wife, also delivers a stellar performance and adds depth to the narrative.
The film's soundtrack, composed by Bappi Lahiri, is another highlight and features some of the most memorable songs of the era, including "Nigahen Milane Ko Ji Chahta Hai," "Ek Dil Ki Diwani," and "Bahut Der Tumne Sataya Hai."
