Can a duck truly be a man’s best friend? It sure can as seen in this fascinating movie. Both the man and the duck feel like they aren't wanted and formed a bond between them. Joe, the duck, helped Arthur give up his thoughts of suicide. The two took care of a pond until it was drained, then they went on their own journey. Heading west kept the sanity Arthur needed and he once again had a reason to live. Joe, the duck, is an angel that definitely already has his wings.
