Watch District 9

The movie District 9 is a science film that came out in the year 2009. It was a film that took place in South Africa. In this film a group of aliens are stuck on Earth in this country and are forced to settle there. Fortunately for them South Africa decides to have them live in a segment of Johannesburg known as District 9. A man who is in charge of overseeing the alien colony meets up with the aliens and gets injured in an accident. As a result he gets exposed to the alien’s blood and mutates into an alien. The South African government then uses him to help them eliminate the aliens since he can fire their superior weapons. At the end of the film, some of the aliens leave while some stay. The one’s that stay end up in a section called District 10.

In Johannesburg South Africa there is a mysterious vehicle that is hanging over the city. It turns out that it is a alien spacecraft that is stuck on Earth. Since it cannot work, the aliens on it go down to the land and settle in an area of the city. After a while the government of South Africa decides to allow them to stay in the city and give them their own neighborhood known as District 9. Things are going okay but the government wants to do studies on them. During the studies, the military along with a group of government officials go to the District to check up on the aliens. One man who is in charge of the group goes there as well to lead the study. Unfortunately the aliens get violent and a struggle ensues due to some aliens being ordered to be evicted from their homes. In the struggle, the man in charge of the operation and government division gets injured and makes physical with the alien. As a result his genetics begin to change and he begins to turn into one of them.

Since the South African government is having difficulty dealing with the aliens, they are looking for ways to eliminate them and send them out of Earth. Once they discover that the man who was in charge of the division that deals with the aliens, has the ability to fire their superior weapons, they try to force him to help them eliminate the aliens. He refuses and is looking to get back to normal. Over time he meets with aliens and is told by one of them that they can get him a cure that will allow him to get back to normal. In the end, a final struggle with the humans takes place and the aliens get their ship working again and leave. Most of them are able to leave but a small portion remains on Earth. As a result the South African government demolishes District 9 and has the remaining aliens live in an area known as District 10. The man also starts becoming one of the aliens as more changes to his appearance take place. He must wait a few years before he can get a cure.

District 9 is a 2009 science fiction movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 52 minutes. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 7.9 and a MetaScore of 81.
