Watch Ama

This 1991 drama feature spirits that live amongst the African tribes who thrive on myth and legend. The spirits are also incorporated into everyday African practices and beliefs. Ama is a twelve-year-old girl who stumbles across an unusual artifact among some trial objects. With her curiosity now sparked, Ama will soon be plagued with warnings concerning the deterioration of her family's health. In an attempt to save her family , Ama warns them of what she has discovered and urges them to seek medical attention. Her father and brother go along with their lives not heeding Ama's warning and will soon suffer the consequences.
